othergreens: intervention

Over the past few years, I've been doing these actions - actions and alterations. I start with taken-for-granted parts of people's everyday lives - tools, vehicles, routines - and change them in ways that force re-evaluation.

My aim is to stretch unquestioned assumptions, to push to those alternate experiences that exist just outside habit.

I've built guerilla shelters for sleeping and dining on the harbor in Copenhagen, turned a one horse trailer into a one horse power boat, and led community actions in wealthy U.S. neighborhood based on the advice of thinktanks I formed in so-called "developing" countries.

These interventions function somewhere between earnest development and hard play, and they become a part of people's lives.
